Hi! I'm still in the process of learning HTML and CSS so this whole site is a huge WIP. I took a break from learning so I'm rusty with the skills I had learned.
It's been a pretty uneventful day aside from DnD. My players are so awesome. We had a great time. I had no plans for this session so the plot didn't progress much, but somehow my players almost died to a pack of mastiffs. How?! They've survived bandits and kobolds, but they almost die to dogs!
My brother is learning HTML too! If he lets me, I'll link his neocities site. My brother is awesome as well. Unfortunatly he's gone this weekend so I can't do anything with him.
Today I went to a youth program for queer teens. We went to an art therapy place and painted. The prompt was to incorporate a mantra into the painting, but it wasn't strictly necessary. My mantra was "You are who you are," and I used green and red paint.
My brother said I couldn't link his webpage. He doesn't want his website to be associated with the likes of me. Oh! Also, turns out he's not gone this weekend, yay!
Pride month is coming up! I'm super excited. I'm going to pride prom. I hope I can find someone to go with me. I've never been to pride prom before, so this will be a new experience. Other pride events I've gone to have been fun so I think this one will be as well.
Hi! Sorry I was gone for a while. I started working on my first fanfiction! It's a modern au for The Glass Scientists where Henry begins his jouney navigating the psychiatric system. The setting doesn't have the fantasy aspects so Jekyll and Hyde are a system. It'll be fun figuring out how to get Henry to open up. I'm still navigating the psychiatric system myself, so I'm basing Henry and Edward's experiences on my own, especially because I am also plural.
Pride month is here! I'm so happy. I also got to hang out with my friends on saturday after not seeing them for a week. I'm going with my friends to pride prom. I'm excited! Where I live pride festivities last into July, so we get a few more events next month.
I didn't do much these past two days, but I'm bored so I'm blogging again. I've made a little progress on my fic. I'm unsure what to do about the other characters and setting. I am now realizing that I started writing with no actual plan about the setting or where the plot will go. I don't really know what to do with the lodgers and I don't know what to do about Frankenstein, Creature, and Moreau. Turns out, putting a bunch of sci-fi/fantasy characters into a realistic modern setting is hard. Anyway, I'm kinda figuring stuff out. I think that the lodgers and Rachel will be employees of a research hospital founded by Henry Jekyll and Robert Lanyon. I still have no idea how and if I'm going to include Frankenstein, Moreau, and Creature. If they are included, I think Frankenstein will be a deadbeat mom who was a brillient surgeon and Creature her kid. I have no idea how to throw Moreau into the mix.
I'm also working on my artfight references. My artfight is Lichenart if anyone's wondering. Same with my toyhouse.

Yesterday was pride prom! Woohoo! I met a new friend and hung out with my other friends. There were snacks, board games, dancing, arts and crafts, and a drag show. Unfortunatly I was picked up immediatly before the drag show. Oh well. I enjoyed playing pictionary, as I always do. Almost everyone seemed to be having a good time.
Artfight! Three teams is wild. I'm choosing team tragedy. I only have nine days to finish my refs, it's crunch time. I'm hoping to attack a lot of people this year, and do as many revenges as I can. I love werewolves and I am getting really into them again, so werewolves will be somewhat of a focus of mine. Same with equines.
